Extreme Weather and Natural Disasters Unit
In this unit, we will explore Natural disasters and extreme weather events.
-We will learn vocabularies related to the theme
-We will watch videos and write fake TikTok comments
-Do a collage of 6 pictures and their explanations
-Write a script for the oral presentation
-Cast a T.V. weather report with 1 weather alert.

Oral: Weather Report
The oral evaluation will be done in class. Student can prepare home and they need to interact with others ( not read their paper/cardex)
Dodging Disaster
Part 1:You will watch Twister. While you watch it, you will be asked to take notes.
Part 2:After you will read a document that presents safety measures.
Part 3: You will then use all the information you have learnt and write a letter. You will be evaluated on this reinvestment task.

A blip happened like in the Avengers’ movie Endgame, you were one of the person that vanished. You went 100 years from now (2122). You have lived in the year for quite a while before a second blip brought you back home in 2022. Your story does not have to include the Avengers.
In your comic strip you will need to explain:
